No To McCain
Why I Don’t Like McCain And Will NEVER Vote For Him
In my opinion, John McCain
- Is a Phony who will say anything to anyone to get and hold power.
- Has an ego one hundred miles long and one hundred miles deep
“I do not seek the presidency on the presumption that I am blessed with such personal greatness that history has anointed me to save my country in its hour of need,” - John McCain after beating Mike Huckabee in the Virginia primaries. A speech in Alexandria VA Feb 13, 2008
If he has to say it rather than letting people see it through his actions, it is the opposite of what he says. Remember Bill Clinton’s famous quote “I did not have sex with that woman… Monica Lewinsky”
- Charles Keating — and the Lincoln Federal Savings scandal in the 1980’s.
- All for illegal immigration but says the opposite if he thinks it will help him gain power.
- Against the First Amendment of Free Speech — McCain Finegold “Campaign Finance Legislation”. Remember, the case of the Lincoln Savings and the Keating Five (McCain was involved … heavily), was all about bribing U.S. Senators and Representatives with campaign contributions. If they are that crooked they can be bribed, then they should be out… plain and simple. Not a law passed to prevent them from being tempted into doing wrong. As the saying goes, “The integrity of a person is judged by what they are doing when no one is looking.” McCain flatly fails that test.
- He Wants to give Constitutional Rights to al-Queda, and other terrorists
- He doesn’t like tax cuts
And more proof that McCain is still as corrupt as ever…
From a story in Worldnetdaily.com about John McCain’s Reform Institute
In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute. According to the article…
McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.
Does this sound like campaign reform. Like keeping money out of politics. Using a non-profit you own to give your Key Campaign Operatives salaries outside of your campaign funds? Honest? “Straight Talk”??? Well… yeah…. if you are straight talking about how corrupt you are. McCain according to him is totally clean.
The article goes farther, and deeper into this…
“In 2006, the Arizona senator was forced to sever his formal ties with the Reform Institute after a controversial $200,000 contribution from Cablevision came to light. McCain solicited the donation for the Reform Institute using his membership on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. In a letter to the Federal Communications Commission, he supported Cablevision’s push to introduce the more profitable al la carte pricing, rather than packages of TV programming.”
What? Mr. Integrity himself using his public office and letterhead from a committee he was a member of? McCain? I’m shocked! Shocked I tell you… to see the stench of corruption near “Mr. Clean” John McCain.
Let’s look at a Non USA advisor to McCain
Juan Hernandez — a non-paid volunteer for the McCain campaign. Oh yeah did I forget to mention he is also the Reform Institute’s senior fellow of its Comprehensive Immigration Reform Initiative.
“A dual Mexican-U.S. citizen, he was a member of former President Vicente Fox’s cabinet, representing an estimate 24 million Mexicans living abroad. Hernandez, with a “Mexico first” message, has argued aggressively against building a fence on the Mexican border, insisting the frontier needed to remain wide open so illegal immigrants could easily enter the U.S.”
The Best Democrat Running For President?
In my opinion John McCain is the best Democrat candidate running.
He is definitely NOT conservative, fiscally anyway, and only partly socially. Though his wrong headed position on abortion — he’s against a woman’s right to choose. (If she want’s to have an abortion or not… why should the government decide????)
Fiscal Conservative?… Ha Ha Ha
He objected to Bush’s tax cut because it “Did not tax the rich enough” Not for the reasons he was trying to make it out. (too much pork and earmarks)
McCain Economics
He is someone who understands economics… only in the sense that if you pay him enough, you can get results. Otherwise, he even admitted he does not understand economics, and he never worked in or owned a business that had to make a profit.
Regarding his “Straight Talk Express” it reminds me of an old Beatles song “The Long and Winding Road”
He is anything but straight talk. He is just like Hillary Clinton in this regard, he will say anything to get elected. Another Bob Dole “If you want me to be Reagan, I’ll be Reagan.” … How about just being yourself!
Integrity?
McCain taking bribes in exchange for using his personal influence is already well known.
Reminds me of the song title Three Little Words… no not “I Love You” Rather…
Lincoln Financial Savings
A Name from the past… Charles Keating. Remember him. Yes, McCain was also implicated by the Congress, and by Keating himself. Unfortunately, or fortunately for McCain, there was not enough direct evidence to easily convict him, so he got a pass.
He takes all sorts of bribes… er … um… campaign contributions. Wink Wink.
“Sure I flew on Lobbyists jets, took expensive vacations provided by them… it was legal at the time” Legal maybe, but come on now John… was it moral?
He is like the murderer… “Stop me before I kill again!”
So he believes it’s the money in politics that corrupts?! Well, does he have any morals? If he did, he would know enough to turn (bribes)… er campaign contributions down. Instead, he writes legislation to curtail freedom of speech.
Regarding his policy on illegals.
I have many friends from other countries, I have seen them all go through the ringer of what used to be INS (Immigration), all the tension, all the heartache, all the interviews, after interview, after interview, the background searches, mountains of paperwork, paying ridiculously high lawyers fees just to make sure the paperwork is done correctly. These people who are here legally and doing it the legal and right way, who unfortunately get stuck in some job that pays them less than they should be able to make, because they need to hold on to that job to get their green card. Some times they get treated much worse because low quality people in positions of power take advantage of their situation, so they suffer in silence biding their time until they get that green card and can quit. And McCain wants to give people who jumped the line, people who did it wrong a free pass????
No, no, no,. no, no, no! On principle Absolutely MOT!
For those of you wondering… Yeah, right now I live in the South. (I like the weather). I grew up in the Chicago area, I lived in Hawaii, Los Angeles, New York City. I have been, and still work in International trade.
I have seen first hand how bureaucratic immigration is. How the immigration officers in other countries feel like they are god and get corrupted by all that power.
John McCain’s National Security credentials…
Wasn’t he the one who led the charge against torturing Al-Queda members to prevent terrorism? This led and is continuing to lead to more USA troops being killed by I.E.D.’s, not to mention the drop in safety in the USA.
Wasn’t he the one that led the charge against waterboarding?
Why I do believe he was… Get This…
“We always supported allowing the CIA to use extra measures,” he said. ”I believe waterboarding is illegal and should be banned,“ McCain said.
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/afp/080214/usa/us_bush_congress_intelligence_veto
Wasn’t he the one that led the charge to give terrorists, and non-uniformed fighters rights not bestowed on enemy combatants, rights under the Geneva convention (sorry spies are not covered, and those irregulars — non uniformed while making war taking pot shots against uniformed troops are not covered either.
Wasn’t he the one who led the charge to give al-Queda members rights granted USA citizens under our Constitution? (Due process)?
Why, I do believe he was… Get This…
“Last year, Congress engaged in a significant public debate on the standard that should govern the treatment of captured al Qaeda terrorists. Congress codified that standard in the McCain Amendment, part of the Detainee Treatment Act, which prohibits ”cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment,“ as defined by reference to the established meaning of our Constitution, for all detainees held by the United States, regardless of nationality or geographic location.”

And This…
John McCain: No ‘Torture’ for 9/11 Mastermind
Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005
Sen. John McCain said Sunday that the U.S. was wrong to “torture” al Qaeda 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed, saying that torture shouldn’t be used against suspects even if they have extensive knowledge of terrorist operations planned against the U.S.
Asked “if you could save American lives” by threatening a
terrorist like Mohammed with torture, McCain told Fox News
Sunday: ”If you decide to torture him you probably don’t get the right information, because torture doesn’t work.“
But Yet… he calls himself and positions himself as “Strong on National Defense”
But Yet… he claims to understand economics.
No Thank You! I’m Not Going To Vote For You
I won’t vote for Hillary, or Obama either, and I’ll tell you why in other posts.
Next time I’m going to dissect Obama’s speech on race for it’s propaganda. Yes, we are in a political season. Yes, politicians are supposed to inundate us with their beliefs. Yes, they use propaganda. Yes, that is why we need to be able to see the facts versus the lies and mis-characterizations.
